Terrra - The Magic Place.Heinrich und Gisela Schneider:

The Hotel-Restaurant Terra – The Magic Place is located in the beautiful Sarntal Valley and is above all a place of tranquillity, nature and mindful enjoyment. The building was constructed in 1974/75 by the parents of the current owners and opened in 1976. In 1998, the next generation took over the business and has continued to run it with great passion ever since.
From the very beginning, great importance was placed on keeping the hotel small, personal and authentic. Direct contact with guests is at the heart of the experience, creating a family-like atmosphere that is highly appreciated by many returning guests. The unique location in the Sarntal Valley, surrounded by untouched nature, further contributes to Terra’s reputation as a retreat for those seeking relaxation and tranquillity.
One of the highlights of the house is its cuisine. The kitchen primarily uses high-quality products from the Sarntal Valley and the surrounding area. Particular emphasis is placed on regional specialities, rare ingredients and unique products that are often not available commercially. Quality, authenticity and regionality are the guiding principles.

The funded project

Thanks to financing from Ethical Banking, a photovoltaic system was installed. Today, it generates a large part of the electricity required by the hotel itself. This investment represents an important step towards greater sustainability and energy independence, perfectly reflecting the philosophy of the house to use resources responsibly.
