Stefan Hafner:

“When realising this residential project, two aspects were particularly important to me: creating a healthy building structure that my children can also use in the future, and developing a coherent energy concept. My goal was to achieve a self-sufficient energy supply, meaning that all electricity needed is produced on site and any surplus is fed back into the grid.”

The funded project

With Ethical Banking financing through the Raiffeisenkasse Bozen, I was able to fulfill my vision of an energy self-sufficient concept for my residential project. We produce three times more electricity than the house requires, and the surplus is fed back into the grid and sold. The photovoltaic system generates 13 megawatts of electricity, which is also used to operate the heating and cooling system based on the air-to-heat principle.

“I find the concept of Ethical Banking very interesting, as all parties involved benefit from it.”
