Haubenthalerhof. Andreas Walder:

The Haubenthalerhof is managed by Andreas Walder and is a diverse agricultural business. The farm includes around 10 hectares of forest and 7.5 hectares of grassland, which are managed sustainably. One of the farm’s main focuses is the rearing of young cattle. In addition, various small animals are kept on the farm, including pigs, chickens and goats. Two horses are also part of farm life and contribute to the diverse structure of the operation.
The history of today’s farm dates back to the 1960s, when the original farm building was destroyed by a fire. In 2012, the farm was rebuilt and adapted to meet the modern requirements of agriculture.
An important step in the sustainable development of the farm was the installation of a photovoltaic system. With this investment, the Haubenthalerhof is focusing on renewable energy and contributing to environmentally friendly and future-oriented agriculture.

The funded project

With financing from Ethical Banking, a 34 kW photovoltaic system was installed. The system enables the farm to generate a large part of its energy needs directly on site and represents an important step towards sustainable and resource-efficient agriculture. By using renewable energy sources, the farm also reduces its dependence on external electricity providers.
