Why did you choose Ethical Banking?

Following the last banking crisis and various scandals involving local banks, I lost my trust in conventional banks and generally feel that my money is not always in the right place with a bank. My savings should help people and support projects that stand for sustainability. Due to both my professional responsibilities and my personal values, I do not have the time or desire to actively manage the “growth” of my money, which is why I am willing to forgo potential interest returns. Speculating with money is not something I am interested in; what matters to me is that the capital I have earned through my work is secure. I owe that to my family.
The assurance that my savings are used to support ethical projects is, in principle, more important to me than having the option to choose these projects myself, although I do believe that this possibility is also part of being a responsible and informed individual. I am also convinced that people who work towards a better world, as well as those who have had fewer opportunities in life than my family and I, should receive support. This should actually be a responsibility shared by every individual.
And with Ethical Banking, I have finally found the partner I have been looking for.

What do you hope for Ethical Banking in the future?

That the bank continues to remain authentic, does not allow itself to be drawn into external pressures, keeps profit maximisation from becoming its priority, and continues to inspire more and more people with these values.

How do you envision your bank in the future?

As an advisor and intermediary
