Stillwagerhof. Georg Burgmann:
We are a mixed organic farm in Sand in Taufers. The farm combines livestock farming, forestry and farm holidays. A special feature of the Stillwagerhof is the “School on the Farm” project, which has been offered there for many years. Georg and Maria had their farm specially certified for this purpose.A visit to a learning farm makes learning through experience possible. “The farm school takes place in the open air, the classroom is the stable, and the teachers are the plants, animals and the farmers who live and work on the farm,” explains Georg.
The funded project
With the Ethical Banking development loan, the construction of a wood gasification plant was financed. The special feature of this system is that the combustion of wood generates not only heat but also electricity.
