Andreas Hauser:

Several years ago, I converted my farm in Schluderns, which was established in 1974, to organic farming with a focus on livestock and fruit production. Since August 2011, a new 20 kWp photovoltaic system has enabled me to cover the farm’s electricity needs. Any surplus green electricity is fed into the grid via ENEL and made available to other consumers.
The installation was partly financed through a low-interest Ethical Banking development loan, and we have been very satisfied with its performance and energy yield.

“I think it is a good and important idea to show savers where and how their money is being used. After all, they accept lower returns, making it possible for businesses like ours to benefit from affordable financing.”
