Scheckübergabe an Peter Pan

Children’s book “Ungurungu” raises a total of €130,000 for the Peter Pan Children’s Cancer Support Association

After the first volume of the children’s book by Ivan Rech Daldosso had already generated €87,000 in donations for Peter Pan, the project has now reached the truly impressive total of €130,000 raised for the Peter Pan Children’s Cancer Support Association.
This significant contribution was made possible thanks to children’s book author and branch manager Ivan Rech Daldosso and his heart-warming story “Ungurungu”. His daughter Maja once again contributed the illustrations for the book.
The book “Ungurungu”, an inspiring children’s story that encourages imagination and creativity among young readers, was not only written by Ivan Rech Daldosso with great passion, but also dedicated to a good cause. The proceeds from the book sales, combined with additional fundraising activities and the tremendous commitment of employees and customers of Raiffeisenkasse Bozen, resulted in this remarkable donation.
“Supporting the outstanding work of the Peter Pan Children’s Cancer Support Association is a matter very close to our hearts at Raiffeisenkasse Bozen,” says Ivan Rech Daldosso. “With Ungurungu, we wanted not only to bring joy and imagination to children, but also to provide tangible support. I was deeply touched by the many kind messages and reactions from children, and it fills my heart with gratitude to know that this initiative has allowed me to reach so many children with the adventures of this unusual creature. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all Raiffeisen Ethical Banking partner banks throughout South Tyrol, who believed in our project and generously contributed to its success.”
For many years, the Peter Pan Children’s Cancer Support Association has been doing outstanding work by accompanying and supporting children and families during difficult times. The funds raised will be used to continue providing urgently needed assistance, therapy services and support for affected families.
The President of the Peter Pan Children’s Cancer Support Association, Dr. Michael Mayr, expressed his great joy and appreciation and thanked the representatives of Raiffeisenkasse Bozen for this fantastic support during the cheque presentation.
Raiffeisenkasse Bozen and the Peter Pan Children’s Cancer Support Association would like to sincerely thank everyone involved who contributed to the success of this fundraising campaign. Through the combined efforts of the community, customers and supporters, a strong message of hope and solidarity has been created.
By the way: A limited number of copies of Volume 1 and Volume 2 of the children’s book are still available from Ethical Banking and at the branches of Raiffeisenkasse Bozen.
