Ethical Banking wins the Sustainability Award once again

Following last year's outstanding success—when the Ethical Banking team received the Sustainability Awards 2022 in the Finance category at a gala event in Milan—Ethical Banking of Raiffeisenkasse Bozen was honoured once again with the Sustainability Awards 2023, selected from 157 submissions.
Competing alongside major financial institutions such as Generali Banca, Gruppo BPM and Intesa Sanpaolo, Ethical Banking impressed the jury with its responsible savings and lending model. Savers decide for themselves which local environmental and social projects their savings should support. By accepting a lower financial return, they enable the bank to provide preferential loans for projects that generate positive social and environmental impact.
The jury commented: "Among the many projects and initiatives completed by the bank in 2022, the Ungurungu initiative stood out in particular. As part of this project, the bank covered the publication and distribution costs of a children's book written by employee Ivan Rech Daldosso, while the entire net proceeds of more than €25,000 were donated to the Peter Pan Children's Cancer Support Association."
